Rayna is a professional photographer beginning to establish her online presence. Her site had to showcase her work well, be easy to update and maintain and capture attention immediatly. I delivered this site in approximatly four days, using a mix of hand coding and freely available third party software.
I am the primary developer for the department and wrote the custom CMS that the site runs on. I am responsible for new features, site design changes and upkeep. Anything more technical than static HTML changes is my responsibility. I am also responsible for all database related issue and primary development and maintenance of our in house graduate school admissions site.
This group needed a lightweight site that would be easy to maintain but still be eye catching for potiental sponsors. The site had to scale well and be able to accomodate new demands as the project expanded.
I handled all the technical aspects of this site, from the initial domain registration to final W3C validation.
This site is a volunteer effort I performed for a friend to support his (VFD) fund raising race. He wanted a simple static site that would be eye catching and provide basic information about the event and how to register. This took approximately two days to deliver after development on it began. While this site did not involve any very sophisticated programming, it provides an example of what I can provide to people or businesses on a small budget who still want to establish a web presence.
I wrote the back end for this site while working as a subcontractor for Nezen Creations. The site features a custom managment system that allows users to register to receive updates in real time via SMS (text messages). Authorized users can post messages to the entire list, or to selected groups.
